|Brian Ulrich is an anointed musician, composer and arranger called to minister
to the Body of Christ through music. As a true servant of God, his ministry
is not intended as simply entertainment, but to encourage and help others
achieve a higher level of worship in their lives. His soothing style of
playing, and his carefully chosen words, have blessed numerous denominations.
Brian was born in Rochester, NY where his love for music was formed and
remains with him today. Brian studied music performance at Houchstein School
of Music and at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester under Chuck Mangione.
As a doubler on saxophone, clarinet and flute, Brian toured Europe with
the American Symphony and Chorus and has performed with Chuck Mangione,
The Statesman, The Rochester Philharmonic, The Gainesville Symphony, The
KBS Trio, High Society, Sentimental Journey, The Victory Jazz Orchestra,
The Modernaires and numerous show orchestras.
Brian was honored as the first time featured music artist at the renowned
Kayne Gallery 's Exhibition held at Club 755 in Atlanta. Brian also performs
on TV, radio, in the studio and is a regularly featured guest on WATC TV
's nationally broadcasted Christian Atlanta Live .
With the desire to instill his love for music in others, Brian works extensively
in the greater Metropolitan Atlanta area with local schools. As a Woodwind
Specialist, he performs Master Clinics and conducts sectional rehearsals,
gives group and private lessons, and works with area bands. Understanding
the importance of a sound musical foundation, Brian has completed his new
book Essential Fundamentals of Music .
Having a strong commitment to community, Brian performs many hours at area
nursing homes, as well as for charity fund-raisers.
Brian resides in Gainesville, Georgia with his wife, Marie and son, Joseph and has recently released several new CD projects. Brian is sponsored by Cannonball Musical Instrument Company, one of the country's fastest growing instrument manufacturers.
